As Other reviewers have stated this has a nice Maple/Banana note at a medium roast. I will be buying more in the future!

I'm blending this 50/50 medium roast and dark roast. It has become my family's favorite morning cup of coffee. I'm also blending it with a India Monsooned Malabar that is becoming a fantastic fun blend for the Holidays. Thank You Sunrise Trading.

I was a bit hesitant ordering 55lbs when I had never tried either the coffee or roasting my own before, but I have zero regrets. I have done 5lbs so far, and the flavor is amazing. My first 2lbs varied widely from a light to dark roast, and my last 3lbs have been med/med dark. It has all been really good.

This is a beautiful bean from Daniel Lale! Luscious aromatic sweet baking spices from the roasted bean give hints of the taste in the cup. As an espresso it makes a thick crema. Bold undertones of baking chocolate and hazelnut edges into a caramel \ maple flourish in the end. As a drip brew vanilla and caramel \ maple tones take center stage. Customers have all remarked how SMOOTH this coffee is. We are thrilled to have discovered this great coffee and are very grateful for the obvious love and hard work Daniel Lale has put into it! A new personal favorite!
We used a fluid bed air roaster, roasting just into the beginning of 2nd crack. No visible defects or damage in a 4 pound run. Roast was very even in color, sizing very consistent. Obvious attention to quality.

I am really enjoying this coffee. I roasted it to a medium dark and it is smooth with a rich flavor.

Beautiful like new bags. I wish they had T-Shirts and mugs with there logo.

I loved the way this coffee roasted. Even though it has a small screen size, it produced copious quantities of crema!
I roasted it until just a few seconds into second crack, right at the first sign of smoke. It's a very sweet, clean and bright tasting coffee scoring an impressive 83.75 on the Q-Grader's evaluation. I have been roasting coffee for years now and I roast the coffee I'm going to brew in my Chemex no more than 24 hours before brewing. I highly recommend this elegant and beautiful coffee!

I didn't really care for this as a light roast. I think that a medium roast is where this bean really stands out.
I tried these in an Americano!

As a medium I was first hit with what I thought was caramel and a very ripe banana but after a few sips the major note was MAPLE... It also had a hint of a malt note to it.

As a Med-Dark roast it was much creamier with a sweet chocolate note and a hint of the maple that I had with the medium.

All in all a very flavorful bean
