An invitation to higher-plane consciousness.

It stirs the Kawsay, that vital life force, reminding us of our connection to the earth and to the wisdom of the ancestors.

The air is filled with the whispers of ancient Andean lore as the deep, comforting aroma of Golden Raisin, Cane Sugar, and Cinnamon delicately unfolds. With each sip, the Caramel base provides a warming sweetness, complemented by a background of Maple Honey. This complex profile, finished by the smooth body and Mellow Acidity, is an experience in pure vitality. A cup that speaks of the land, echoing the cycles of life and the promise of a new beginning.

Cultivators:

HIGH MANCO is a coffee lovingly grown by Leopoldo Velita, Javier Soto, and Dante Lale. Their farms are nestled in the tranquil villages of Maria Teresa, Agua Fresca, Miraflores, and Gramazu, where coffee cherries flourish at elevations of 1600-1930 meters, bordering the breathtaking UNESCO Amazonian Biosphere Reserves.

Why Lounges Love It:

Like Manco Cápac, the first ruler and founder of the Inca civilization, emerging from the depths of Lake Titicaca, this cup promises discovery and unparalleled experience. This offering is suited for settings where the extraordinary is savored, and conversations flow with effortless grace, acting as a bridge to another world.

🔥 Roasting

A City+ roast is ideal to bring out the best in High Manco. This allows the spice notes (cinnamon/golden raisin) to shine, balanced by its mellow acidity.

💧 Brewing

Brewing with a French press or as a cold brew can accentuate its full body and creamy texture.

Espresso Suitability:  The Caramel base and smooth body ensure a rich, velvety texture and a lingering sweetness that creates a satisfying, long finish in the cup.

Nitro Cold Brew: The inherent warm spice notes of Golden Raisin, Cinnamon, and Caramel are amplified by the nitro charge. The resulting cold brew is rich and clean, without being heavy.

These are just suggestions, and your personal preferences may vary. Experiment with different roast levels and brewing methods to discover what you enjoy most.

  • Geography

Pasco, Peru, located in the central highlands, presents a compelling region for coffee cultivation. Characterized by a rugged Andean topography, Pasco experiences significant elevation variation, a key factor in coffee quality. The region's eastern slopes, descending towards the Amazon basin, feature a humid, subtropical climate with consistent rainfall, ideal for Arabica cultivation. These areas, particularly in the Oxapampa province, exhibit a complex mosaic of microclimates due to varying elevations and aspects, creating diverse terroirs. The interplay of elevation, rainfall, and temperature gradients contributes to the distinct flavor profiles of Oxapampa's coffee. Situated on steep slopes, the region's coffee farms demand specialized cultivation techniques to manage the soil erosion issues. The region's accessibility, infrastructure, and the socioeconomic dynamics of coffee-producing communities are also critical factors influencing the sustainability and expansion of coffee cultivation in Pasco.

In the realm of sophisticated lounges, where patrons seek premium, artisanal experiences, Sunrise Trading's Peruvian coffee stands unparalleled. Ethically sourced, ecological shade-grown beans offer a distinct, complex flavor profile that will elevate any establishment.
