Gramazú, Perú – August 27, 2025 – Our work at Sunrise Trading is built on a deep devotion to the communities that make our exceptional coffees possible. On this day, we were honored to make a new delivery of essential medical supplies, a gesture of support that goes hand-in-hand with the spirit of resourcefulness so vital in the high jungle.

With the valued support of Project C.U.R.E., we arrived at the Centro de Salud in Gramazú. In attendance to receive the donation were the dedicated medical staff, including Lic. Enf. Ingebort Cardenas Orihuela, Responsable del Centro de Salud de Gramazú, Obstetra Devis Coz Rivera, and Técnica enfermería Elizabeth León Martel. They were joined by Eduardo, the president of the health committee, and our very own Eliana Ruiz.

A Hands-On Approach to Community Health

Sunrise Trading's CEO, Andrew Shook, was also present to answer questions and demonstrate how items could be used in multiple ways. This focus on resourcefulness is crucial for providing emergency care in the region. Andrew's presence underscores our commitment to providing practical, hands-on support and building a stronger, healthier future for the community.

Listening to the Needs of the Community

Our work is a cycle of giving and receiving. We have listened closely to the community's needs, and we know there is still work to be done. The Centro de Salud in Gramazú has specifically requested Hemo Control Analyzers test strips, and Glucometers with test strips.
