San Juan de Cacazu, Peru – November 4, 2023 – The spirit of the Condor, our guide of freedom and vision, guides us on journeys far beyond coffee. On this day, Sunrise Trading, from our base in Chontabamba, Oxapampa, Peru, was honored to participate in a vital mission of community support. In collaboration with Dr. Edgar Condor, the Medical Director of Oxapampa, and Eliana Ruiz, we facilitated the delivery of essential medical supplies to the local medical outpost in the village of San Juan de Cacazu.

A Mission of Care for a Village of 200

San Juan de Cacazu, a close-knit community of about 200 people, faces significant challenges in accessing healthcare. The local posta de salud, or medical outpost, serves as the sole medical facility in the area. This delivery, made possible with the support of Project C.U.R.E., will significantly improve the community's capacity for essential medical care.

The supplies provided included a range of crucial provisions:

• Trauma kits

• Blood pressure monitors

• Stethoscopes

• Thermometers

• Scalpels and suture materials

• Personal protective equipment

By working directly with key leaders like Dr. Condor, we are focused on ensuring these supplies reach those who need them most, with transparency and a clear purpose.
